We would like to extend our sincere appreciation for your strong interest, generous support, and valuable participation in the International Education Congress / EDUCongress 2025, organized in collaboration with Istanbul University–Cerrahpaşa Hasan Âli Yücel Faculty of Education and EDU Publishing.
This year’s congress brought together academics, researchers, teachers, graduate students, educational administrators, and representatives from various sectors, creating a rigorous and forward looking platform for sharing knowledge in the field of education. Your presentations, scholarly contributions, and active engagement in discussions made the congress highly productive both scientifically and professionally.
Your presence has significantly contributed to
• sharing innovative approaches in education,
• strengthening international collaboration,
• illuminating future models of learning and teaching, and
• opening new directions for research and practice.
With its main theme “Creating Education Systems for the Future,” EDUCongress2025 was held over four days in hybrid format, featuring 710 presentations in total. With invited speakers from Türkiye and abroad, along with panels, workshops, career sessions, and forums, we experienced a rich and comprehensive congress programme.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the Rector of Istanbul University–Cerrahpaşa Prof. Dr. Nuri Aydın, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Erol İnce, Dean of Hasan Âli Yücel Faculty of Education Prof. Dr. Muhammet Baştuğ, Associate Deans Prof. Dr. Selçuk Hünerli and Assoc. Dr. Talat Fatih Uluç, as well as all faculty members and administrative staff for their invaluable support.

Our EDUPanel speakers; Prof. Dr. Yasemin Kırkgöz, Prof. Dr. Ali Yıldırım, Prof. Dr. Jessica Aspfors, and Prof. Dr. Kürşat Çağıltay made significant contributions to the session on “Training the Teacher of the Future: Pedagogy, Values, and Competencies.”
We also extend our sincere thanks to our EDUForum speakers in early childhood education; Prof. Dr. Aysel Köksal Akyol, Prof. Dr. Adalet Kandır, Prof. Dr. Refika Olgan, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mine Canan Durmuşoğlu for their valuable insights.
During the EDUCareer programme, we were honoured to host Ms. Nurten Öztürk, Founding Board Member of OPET and Chair of the TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Board. Her inspiring talk, reflecting a career journey that began in teaching and transformed across sectors, was one of the memorable highlights of the congress.
