How Can Artificial Intelligence Be Utilized in the Measurement and Development of Reading Skills?
Artificial Intelligence vs. Teacher
Purpose of the Workshop
The aim of this workshop is to demonstrate, through hands-on applications, how the performance (fluency, error types) and comprehension (multi-layered cognitive processes) dimensions of reading skills can be analyzed using AI-supported systems. Participants will experience the time and labor costs of traditional reading assessment processes and observe how these can be completed within minutes using AI-based systems. The workshop will also discuss how artificial intelligence transforms the diagnosis, analysis, and intervention cycle in reading instruction.
