Publication Guidelines for Books and Book Chapters within the Scope of the Web of Science Book Citation Index
- The publication of book chapters is planned independently of the conference.
- Chapters to be included in the book will be selected from within the same academic discipline and must align with a specific thematic framework.
- All book chapters must be written in English and adhere to academic writing standards, meeting internationally recognized scientific norms.
- Each chapter will be subject to preliminary evaluation through a double-blind peer-review or editorial process, and no chapter will be included in the book without prior approval of its content.
- Each author may contribute to only one book chapter.
- In preparing chapters, strict compliance with the inclusion criteria defined by Clarivate for the Web of Science Book Citation Index is required.
- ISBN, DOI, and ORCID identifiers will be assigned to the book and each chapter.
- There must be no conflict of interest between editors and authors; ideally, an individual should not serve as both an editor and a chapter author.
- Authors must sign an ethical declaration form confirming the originality of their accepted manuscript and its compliance with plagiarism standards (Turnitin/iThenticate similarity report must not exceed 10%).
- The publication schedule of the books will be developed to include both the editorial and peer review processes as well as the internal evaluation procedures of the Web of Science Book Citation Index. Therefore, the final timeline will be announced after the conference, based on the thematic focus, number of chapters, and other relevant factors.
