Professor Pam BURNARD

Professor Pam Burnard is Professor of Arts, Creativities and Education at the Faculty of Education, University of Cambridge. She is an internationally recognized scholar in arts-based research, theories of creativity, STEAM education, and practice-based research. She also serves as an adjunct professor at institutions including the University of Sydney, Western Sydney University, the University of Foggia, and Instituto Katarina Gurska.

She is the author or editor of more than 20 books and over 120 peer-reviewed journal articles. A former editor of the journal Thinking Skills and Creativity, Professor Burnard collaborates with numerous international advisory boards, research projects, and creative education networks. Her research focuses on developing diverse creativities across all levels of education, bridging teaching practices with science, the arts, and society. She also supervises a wide range of doctoral research projects, mentoring the next generation of creative scholars. Her global impact is marked by her pioneering contributions to transforming creative learning and teaching.
