Biyografi
Pınar Sayar is a Canva Türkiye Teacher Ambassador, digital content developer, and educational specialist actively working in the field of digital transformation in education. She serves as a digital content writer and developer within the Technology-Oriented Learning Scenarios Development Team (D3 Project) and the Innovative Classrooms Project carried out under the General Directorate of Innovation and Educational Technologies (YEĞİTEK) of the Turkish Ministry of National Education. In her work, she approaches artificial intelligence and digital tools not as goals in themselves, but as instruments that strengthen pedagogy, and she develops innovative learning activities and educational practices accordingly.
Bringing together the design power of technology with pedagogical approaches in education, Sayar delivers both online and face-to-face institutional training programs on Canva and educational technologies for teachers, students, and educational institutions. She also actively contributes to projects supporting teachers’ digital competencies and innovative teaching skills as a Scientix Ambassador, Future Classroom Lab (Innovative Classrooms) trainer, ÖRAV educator, and Eğiteknoloji Education Leader.
Holding a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Pınar Sayar places particular emphasis on project-based, interdisciplinary, and sustainability-oriented educational approaches. Aiming to make learning meaningful, accessible, and aligned with the requirements of the contemporary world, she considers digital transformation in education not merely as a technological issue, but as a powerful pedagogical design process.
Canva AI Tools
In this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to closely explore Canva’s next-generation artificial intelligence tools and discover the innovative possibilities AI offers in education, academic studies, content creation, and digital design processes. Designed for educators and academics, the program will introduce a variety of features through engaging examples, including text-to-image generation, AI-supported presentation creation, content production with Magic Write, background editing, automatic design suggestions, and video and visual editing tools.
Throughout the program, Canva’s generative AI features will be demonstrated through live demos and sample applications. Participants will receive practical tips on how to make course materials, academic presentations, project studies, and social media content more effective, efficient, and visually engaging. During the workshop, short hands-on activities will also be conducted using selected tools, allowing participants to experience AI-supported content creation processes directly.
At the end of this event, which combines technology and creativity, participants are expected to develop both awareness and fundamental practical skills enabling them to effectively use Canva’s AI tools in educational environments, academic production processes, and digital content development activities.
