Safe Schools, Stronger Futures: Shared Roles and Responsibilities for Safer Education

We are delighted to invite you to the International Education Congress–EDUCongress2027, hosted by Anadolu University in Eskişehir, Türkiye, on 8-11 September 2027.

Under the theme “Safe Schools, Stronger Futures: Shared Roles and Responsibilities for Safer Education,” EDUCongress2027 will explore the creation and sustained development of safe educational environments from a multidisciplinary perspective. The congress will focus on schools where students, teachers, and education staff feel safe, experience a sense of belonging, and participate actively in learning.

Discussions will address the physical, psychological, social, and digital dimensions of school safety, including violence and bullying prevention, student and teacher well-being, inclusive school climates, disaster preparedness, crisis management, and safety in digital environments. Drawing on research findings and practical experience, the congress will examine the roles and responsibilities of school leaders, teachers, students, families, local authorities, and policymakers.

Bringing together academics, education leaders, teachers, researchers, postgraduate students, and policymakers, EDUCongress2027 aims to connect theoretical perspectives with professional practice. The congress seeks to contribute to the development of leadership practices, collaborative approaches, and education policies that strengthen a culture of safety in schools.

Through scientific sessions, panels, invited talks, workshops, conversations, and interactive activities, EDUCongress2027 will provide opportunities to exchange knowledge, share experiences, and shape a safer educational future together.
